About me
My name is Kelsey Thomsen and I am thrilled to be the Special Education Instructional Coordinator here in Jeffco Public Schools. I have over 11 years experience as a Learning Specialist at the elementary level. In August 2012, I started my teaching career in Bailey Colorado. After teaching in Bailey for 8 years, I transitioned to Jeffco and began a new chapter in my career. I could not be more grateful to be a part of the Jeffco Public Schools team!
I have a passion for teaching students, but I am just as passionate about supporting other educators. That passion for supporting other educators led me to pursue a master’s degree that had an emphasis in Educational Leadership and Academic Coaching. In December 2021, I graduated with my master’s degree from the University of Northern Colorado.
I am looking forward to my continued work in Jeffco!
